Does the "GS" Client support the connection through a proxy server?

The current version of the "GS" Client does not support connections through the proxy server. To establish a connection between the "GS" Client and the "GS" Server, your "GS" Client  application has to be directly connected to the Intranet or Internet.

When is the "Resume Mode" available and for what type of services?

Generally, the "Resume Mode" is available only for file streaming services. Whether the "RESUME" is available for file streaming services in each case depends on the settings set by the "GS" Service Provider on the "GS" Server, on the availability of exactly the same (unchanged) content file and the type of disconnection reason between the "GS" Server and "GS" Client during the previous session (previous to the attempted "RESUME" session).

Can I use the "GS" Client to connect to servers other than "GS" Media Servers/Services? Can I play other than "GSF" audio files formats through the "GS" Client "Records Manager"?

The current version of the "GS" Client is designed to provide a means of communication only with the "GS" Server. It can only playback audio files recorded during your session with the "GS" Server (when you access the content of the "Record Permitted" service provided by the "GS" Service Provider).

Can I record the receiving content a during communication session with the "GS" Server?

Yes, you can record the receiving content, but only if your "GS" Service Provider has permitted to do so by activating the record button during the initialization of a communication session. Please note: trying to record the receiving content using third party tools or applications may be considered as a "GS" Service Provider' copyright violation act!

What is the string with "SLID:" word and some numbers down the list of my IP addresses that I can see when I point the mouse cursor at theIP indicators on the main screen?

SLID stands for Server License ID. This number is the license ID of "GS" Server acquired from the producer of Genie Stream™ system or its retail channels by the "GS" Service Provider. This number indicates the legal nature of the acquired license and may be used for different types of enquiry by the Genie Stream™ customers.
