Aspects such as ease of installation, stability, consistency of look and feek, efficiency of use and ease of learning were considerations constantly at the forefront during development of iMCA. For example, tremendous effort has gone into enabling immediate state changes of objects on the GUI when the user interacts with them without any evidence of page refresh, and close to real-time update of information on the GUI again without any evidence of page refresh, giving the impression of a persistent connection between the application and the network. In other words, iMCA successfully delivers the benefits of a web-based application (such as client-independence and OS-independence) together with the behaviors and responsiveness traditionally associated with a thick-client application.
